🚲 Enhance Bike Safety with Salzmann 3M Spoke Reflectors - High Visibility, 72 Silver Pieces Review

I have bought these spoke reflectors several times in the past. In all previous purchases, the spoke reflectors were the same size and fitted very snugly (and tightly) to the standard spokes on my wheels. However, this last batch which I bought in April 2018 was not the same size which means some of the reflectors on the spokes slide up and down and don't stay in place. Also, some of them are so weak that they fell off the spokes while driving. I am very disappointed in the inconsistent quality

After fitting the poles I didn't have the opportunity to ride late at night when I needed the bike to be visible . However, I tried turning off the lights in the garage and using a flash or phone screen lights to see how reflective these sticks could be. It really depends on how strong the original lights are, and car lights can only be stronger than phone lights. With these reflective poles I don't worry too much about riding at night if needed, but I still prefer the day just to be safer…

Perfect, super bright! I ordered them to hold the LED string lights on the pins but found I really like them too. Very easy to attach, perfect length, WILL NOT SLIP BY ITSELF! I ordered a box of 72 and used each for my large 29" Mongoose switchback frame. I ordered a second set to do some patterns on my needles. Very light weight does not add weight to the bike. I see others have said they aren't tight enough on their spokes, slipping, rattling etc. But I haven't had any of these issues on my recumbent trike. They fit perfectly and snugly, are easy to install and look fresh day and night. I sit low on a trike and when I have to cross an intersection it's important that the drivers know I'm there. I can tell from the drivers' actions that I am now VISIBLE from the side and I've noticed people looking at me and even commenting on the reflective wheels…

My goal is to make my bike as visible as possible for night riding. To improve visibility on the wheels I installed LED bike lights near the rim.
