Great quality, did not expect at all for the price.

It came faster than the estimated time by 2 days, there were no problems with the installation, I immediately rolled up Windows, divided it into 2 disks for the convenience of subsequent reinstallations. And, there was a problem when installing Windows, an error occurred, I had to turn off all the disks, only then everything worked, but I think these are the problems of my sneakers.

Pros
  • Original, determined by proprietary software, better condition.
Cons
  • I haven’t noticed yet, and I think if you take it from the ssd, you understand that there should be no problems and shortcomings

I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Got pros: Excellent speed, I have been using it for about half a year, everything is perfect Cons: Heating is possible, but with a radiator everything did not give out at the level of some high temperatures

After checking the disk, the software did not see the declared speeds, I received only 3000 for reading, 2500 for writing. I took it for work, the main thing is to be reliable, not for the system, so I didn’t find fault with speeds, but it was still unpleasant to see the discrepancy. Has pros: Reliable brand, temperature 35C, excellent price, took on sale for 6500R. With its cons: The declared speeds are lower than the actual ones, the lack of a regular radiator, I had to buy more.

I'm satisfied, it's a good purchase.

this is my first ssd m2 nvme and while i was trying to put windows on it, i almost died. it was a very long time, the installer simply did not see it, all hdd and ssd were disabled, it was displayed in the bios and I set the correct settings for installation, I reviewed a lot of guides from 2022s and Americans, nothing helped. The only thing that saved me was the formatting. I installed Windows on an old ssd, downloaded the low level format tool, it saw the disk and I set it to be formatted…

Pros
  • high speed reliable price quality
Cons
  • need dances with a tambourine for tuning

No bolt included. I pressed it with an ordinary paper clip, partially wrapped in paper. If you don't shake like crazy, it stays on fine. But a bolt would be more reliable. Does anyone know the size? Different pros: On the ASUS N751JK laptop, I got up without any dancing with a tambourine (for 1TB). Just partitioned the hard drive - and that's it. But he did not make it systemic. Some cons: They say that the system simply cannot be done on the ASUS N751JK laptop. And support does not guarantee…

One of the best offers, glad I bought it.

With its pros: Very fast, that's why I bought it. Windows 10 starts in 5 seconds. Got cons: Someone complained about overheating without a radiator, this was not revealed, but you can optionally install a radiator

Practical product, nothing to complain about.

Due to the lack of cache, when copying more than ~ 50GB of files at a time, the write speed drops significantly. When installing the system on it, periodic starters were observed, a coincidence is possible :) for games / music / file cleaning - that's what you need.

Fast, keeps the declared speed. Temperature 45-50 degrees with a radiator. At the first installation, it was not detected in the BIOS and Windows, only through the Samsung Magic program. After ating the firmware, it was determined in Windows, but there is still silence in the BIOS. There may be a problem with my motherboard. In general, an excellent ssd, works like a clock.

Pros
  • Fast
Cons
  • not defined in bios

Mounting screw not included

Drive works as expected but no company that thinks it's worth saving 0.0001 cents by not including 1 screw deserves more than one star. I just had to order the complete mounting kit. to get a screw to install this thing. Samsung saves a whole penny per 1000 discs sold, woohoo!

Pros
  • Value for money
Cons
  • Security

Amazing drive on internal SSDs

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it doesn't include a mounting screw and has to be purchased separately. Here is a link to what I used - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08HX4F7KP/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1. But the speed and performance are amazing. Tested against a Sata SSD and the speed was about 6x faster in both reading and writing. It's a Samsung SSD, you can't go wrong with it. But pancake Samsung can screw brother please.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Poor set

Great drive but make sure you have a tiny screwdriver handy

The only thing I think potential buyers should know is that when installing this drive you will need one of those very small screwdrivers ( the ones you use to adjust your glasses). You may think you have one in your toolbox and so do I, but think again. You had one and then you LOST it. At least that's what happened to me. I had to buy another one which was annoying. Either way, the drive is great and contains all of your cat's high-resolution games, videos, music, documents and photos that…

The Samsung 980 is the best 3rd gen M.2 SSD I've had.

Samsung 980 is the perfect pinnacle of storage technology, I think it suits my needs as an open world gamer. I'm using it on an Asus ROG Maximus X Code Gen 3. And benchmarks with more than half the capacity used show 3395MB/2728MB sequential and 326171/27381 random IOPS, which is great for world streaming games like Star Citizen. Game loading is measured in seconds, not minutes, and that makes the player happy. The 980 also offers long life with good thermal temps, a stable 40C for me, and a…

Great NVMe drive for the price

Excellent NVMe drive for the price, what wasn't entirely clear was the corners that were trimmed to get this attractive price/performance combo. Short answer: This drive does not have a dedicated drive onboard, most Samsung NVMe drives have a dedicated drive chip that is used for buffering command queues, so in a situation where the drive is asked to extract multiple small files at once . or write a few small files at a time, dram will help you queue those commands and get the most out of it…

Pros
  • Finally bought it
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Crazy speed and great value

I've been using Samsung products since I switched to SSDs. They are the best and offer reliable performance. I have 850 EVO, 960 Pro, 960 EVO, 970 EVO Plus, 980 Pro and now 980 with 1TB storage at the same time. Each one is lightning fast, significantly faster than standard SATA SSDs. The 980 is clearly a great NVMe drive. I cloned this SSD and only used it as a backup drive. I am currently using 980 Pro. In fact, I can't really tell the difference between the two on a PCIE 3.0 motherboard…

Pros
  • Just like everyone else
Cons
  • Expensive insurance
