Use this bracket to install a a Sanden 508 A/C Compressor on your LS engine up out of the way of frame rails, motor mounts and fenderwells, using a factory LS belt tensioner. This kit uses Truck-Spacing, which requires a GM crank pulley. It also utilizes a '98-'02 Camaro LS1 belt tensioner GM. Made in Wichita, KS from aerospace grade, USA billet aluminum. Compatible with Sanden 508 compressor from 1987 Jeep Cherokee , as well as Vintage Air Sanden 508. Bracket kit includes: satin finish bracket set, ribbed idler pulley, smooth tensioner PULLEY ONLY, and mounting hardware.

LM7 5.3 TRUCK ENGINE REPLACEMENT

Used this mount on my 69 C10 5.3LS1 swap. Worked great but this mount required a 119" belt when used on a LM7 (2004 Tahoe) truck engine with a stock alternator (105 amp) and horsepower mount.

Rally is a beautiful mount. to Engines and Engine Parts

Comes with brackets for OEM 508 and vintage air compressors. Attachment to the head on the passenger side with 3 attachment points and 2 directly on the water pump. I don't think I could bend it with a crowbar.

Perfect fit for LQ4 in square body Chevy trucks!

This bracket was just what I needed to install the air conditioning compressor which is vastly superior to the 1987 OEM in my Silverado Swap LQ4. Fits perfectly and makes my vintage atmosphere look like Christmas here in the south as well.

Requires modifications to work

This kit is suitable for adding an A/C compressor to an LS with all truck accessories but some modification will be required for the compressor to fit. I had to trim the ears on my sanden508 to fit other accessories. Still not 100% straight. If you don't want to modify, buy another kit.

You will need to make adjustments yourself to align the AC pulley.

UPDATE --- 10/19/2020. This is a low quality kit. Buyer Warning. The alignment is so bad that the pulleys are creaking. After replacing all the rollers, it creaks. Therefore I do NOT recommend this set. Get a higher quality kit. TO UPDATE. I have downgraded this from 5 stars to 3 stars. I barely noticed the belt going up a rib on the AC pulley. It's a great setup, but it looks like you'll need to space the entire assembly about 1/8" apart. I ended up spacing the entire assembly at .150". Itโ€ฆ
