As mentioned before, this device gets very hot when transferring large amounts of data. Also, the case is surprisingly thin, which definitely doesn't live up to SanDisk standards. This thing works great though, and I like the reduced form factor where I use it: in my car to hold MP3s. Since I don't plan to move it, I don't care about the longevity of the case. Good flash drives overall but almost mandatory to hold them on the little strap that comes with them. I gave this 4 stars because of the plastic case. After prolonged use, the plastic wears out and breaks. I also wish it came with two straps. They're about the size of the tip of my pinky, but they're great if you usually leave them plugged into a laptop's USB port most of the time, or just want something unobtrusive. Not bad in general, but the plastic is clearly worn.

Nice flash drive. I've already bought four. I keep one for each car. I experienced virtually no audio distortion or skipped songs. I have easily stored over 4700 songs on both drives in my car. Vehicles have read them in the last 2 months without any problems. I suggest you take them out from time to time and check the contacts for galvanic corrosion.
