The last one lasted 7 years. Only had to replace it because I accidentally broke it. My only real complaint is that there is no warning that the batteries are dying. Can you just put a sealed lithium in for that price?

I bought for "extra insurance" on my Saniflow. The alarm clock sound is very weak, so I think you can understand the problem is on your floor before you hear it behind my isolated wall. Pretty expensive for what you get.
