Not bad, but not great

Bold colors and they do what they're supposed to. They are good for the price but if you can afford it I would go for a higher quality set. They create the feel of chalk on paper, and the lines of the drawing don't disappear when activated, even when brushed. This would be a good set for beginners or for those unsure if they will enjoy this particular medium. I'll probably use them for sketches. Not bad, but not great either.

Pros
  • Arts, paints and craft supplies
Cons
  • Not sure

Impressed!

This was my first set of watercolor crayons. I needed them for a class and had never used them before, so I didn't want to spend a lot on the set of Neocolors that the teacher used. They worked beautifully and I enjoyed using them so much that I bought Neocolors to see if I would ever like them. To my pleasant surprise, I chose this set over the expensive Neocolors! They were easier to apply with water, gave the same accurate colors as the Neocolors, and I really didn't see a reason to spend…

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Crumpled Packaging

IF IT'S OK TO BE TRUE.

Not what they say. FIRST, this is NOT an artistic level. The material breaks easily and some colors are grainy. So if you first apply chalk to the paper and then use a wet brush, you end up with small, insoluble pieces. Pooh! It is best to pick up the color from the pencil with a wet brush (take up a lot of color with the brush, as the pigments are quite thin) and then apply it to the paper. You will be happier. Many color labels are strange and wrong. Some are completely useless. Who knows…

  • Crayons
