Bought this item last summer to use as a clay extruder. It holds up well, doesn't rust, uses the standard 2" heads sold for other large hand extruders, and is easy to clean. It has a stainless steel barrel instead of aluminum and is much cheaper than what's sold in ceramic stores. One caveat: the tip of the tone push rod is removable and if not properly tightened can damage the stumps.
