Chrome Plated Brass Water-Saving Shower Head with Push Button Flow Control and Shut Off Review

Had to return the item. It was smaller than I thought it would be, and the spray was more like mist, so the water was cool rather than hot when it hit my body. It might be ok for an RV, but I didn't like it for a house shower.

After reading other reviews I bought this product and am completely satisfied as I have had this type of showerhead before. It seems that when others see the word "off" they think "totally off", not in this case, it's meant to seep in so you don't get burned, this is the actual design of this product and is meant to work in this way.

Shut off valve not working well and leaking. Water pressure is good if you have low water pressure issues. You can heat the water more than usual, the jet gives off the heat into the air very quickly, so you may catch a cold when it hits it. Keep this in mind when taking a cold bath or shower. But if you heat the shower stall, the water temperature will get higher over time.

Others have criticized that this type of shower head doesn't shut off the water flow completely when the tap is turned off. The notes on the back of my package said it was intentionally manufactured and conformed to most state plumbing codes. If you want to shut off the flow completely, you need to add an additional shut-off valve in front of the shower head. Great product and decent value for money

I bought my showerhead about 35 years ago for about $10. (My family and friends bought me all kinds of fancy ones, I didn't like any of them.) I fell in love with this one. Every few years I take it apart, clean it, put it back together and use it for a few more years. After 35 years, the sealing rings on the blind switch died, I spent several months looking for a new one (on the market), thank God found it. It's still only $10

Decent shower head and flow performance. Most fluctuations are on/off related. It leaks a little when it's "off," and the slide is a little temperamental. Probably not bad for a quick dark blue shower, but not the best. I also haven't figured out how to take it apart to get to the o-rings or slider in case I need to service it. The main thread also uses an unusually large spacer that likely accommodates the ball joint. There doesn't seem to be much room for a filter/screen.

This is a water saving showerhead. Works well except for the check valve, it reduces flow to a trickle. The head itself ensures a significant increase in pressure even without modification. Many users modify these heads to increase flow rates. Warning! Drilling out the center of this device will remove the flesh from your face. When converting, consider the diameter of your drill bit. If the drill is too big, quickly turn this shower head into a pressure washer. Hope that helps.

I like this shower head much better compared to the brand I bought in April. There's a real spray instead of lots of "needle" jets and it's tiny, which differentiates the space in my overhead shower on wheels. The shut off button would be a nice feature if it shut off the water entirely, but it does allow a little constant flow even in the closed position. I'm taking off a star because it doesn't work as advertised. Otherwise I like it so far. Much better flow and coverage than my previous one,
