Not for restaurants

Plastic handles don't hold the wire well. The ends of the wire pop out from time to time, we use it to cut 45lb blocks of cheese and it barely manages to keep up.

  • Cheese slicer
Cons
  • Useless features

Not good for waxy crusts

Cuts through cheese well but not very well through waxy crusts so I had to use a sharp knife anyway. I cut a head of cheese, so the wire came in really handy because of its length.

Great for carving the flesh out of watermelon quarters!

Since I only buy watermelons for myself and my husband, I usually buy them quarters at a time. I've always hated cutting chunks of melon from the skin, but with this one it's a one-cut process. Cuts better than a knife. Simply tie the wire tightly to the skin and the healthy part of the melon will come out. I am very satisfied with this product.

Previous attempts to remove the mirrors with a bike brake cable (a suggestion found online) have been unsuccessful due to the thickness of the wire and the pain in your hands. It was the PERFECT decision. The wire was strong and thin and the handles were very…
