I've just moved into a new house and I've been swapping out doorknobs from cheap doorknobs for Schlage throughout the house. I wish the dummy levers had strike plates. That would be my only complaint. I had to buy them separately. Now all my door handles are brushed nickel and match throughout the house.

The perfect solution when you don't want the handle to rotate. I used this on the inside of a closet door that houses my washer/dryer. The inside handle hit the washing machine. This was inconvenient as more often than not you would turn the handle down and then think about turning the handle up. Now the outside handle rotates while the inside stays stationary. Fabulous!

I have just replaced all the door handles in my house with Schlage Accent door handles and got rid of the 30 year old round brass knobs. They matched the old door hardware perfectly and the replacement was smooth and easy. They look clean and modern and very elegant. The levers are easier than the elderly handles and as we are all getting older this seemed like a good choice. A very good quality.

We had a French door installed to close our 1.5m entrance to the front living room, now our office. The new door is lockable and has a pre-drilled hole for the lock handle. For aesthetic reasons we also wanted the handle to be on the other leaf of the door. When I ordered this I didn't realize that TWO SCREW HOLES would be visible on the mannequin. act. However, no screw holes are visible on the other handle.

I upgraded the handles in my house to these Schlage levers and I love them. They were very easy to install and switching the handle from top to bottom was very easy. The screws on the dummy handle were the opposite of those on the previous handles, so I had to mark the center with a spirit level, mark the screw holes, and drill new ones.
