We bought a new house and all the door handles were gold and build quality. I have used Schlage doorknobs in the past. They cost more but are definitely better quality than other doorknobs I've used.

Easy installation. Very reliable locking and unlocking. Satisfying feel and clicks. It replaces another brand which sometimes wouldn't open from the inside even if it was new. I used it for an interior bathroom door that already had cutouts.

I wanted to replace my old door handles with something more modern on all my interior doors. They were big and easy to set up. The instructions are terrible but I made it through all the tutorial videos on the internet. Schlag needs to work better with the guide.

I ordered three which arrived quickly with no damage. They were very easy to install. My only caveat: check your door when it's new. We bought a new hinged door assembly from Lowe's to replace our closet door. After installing the door handle, we found that the cutout in the frame did not match the cutout in the door, making it impossible to fully latch the door. Good thing it's just a closet door!

I have replaced all my regular brass doorknobs with these and wow they have made a difference. They are easy to install and all you need is a screwdriver. I used a drill and it made the installation much quicker. The only downside I have is that the bezel will curl up next to a door with no screw holes because it's not attached to the door at all.
