Curdy's group keeps my blanket dry and my kids out of trouble.

is kerdi, and as I said. If you need it, you know what it is and how it works. I'm a happy customer. I used this with Ditra to effectively clean my bathroom floor. it raised the walls a few inches and sealed the seams. The toilet will be a weak point but between sealing the seams etc it should stay dry for years.

Pros
  • Handsfree
Cons
  • Some little things

Product sent was NOT Kerdi tape, it is...

Product sent was NOT Kerdi tape, just a schluter Kerdi waterproofing membrane cut to 5 inches Very disappointing. Kerdi Tape is thinner than Membrane for some reason. If I wanted to cut off pieces of the membrane that I cut from the membrane that I also bought, by the time they noticed the problem it was too late to return it.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Useless features

This is a 5 " wide waterproof fleece.

I would give it 5 stars but I hate installing it here in America. Apparently in Europe it is legal to use a binder other than mortar that does it's a little better than here. Gluing fleece to cement board is something of a nightmare because cement board absorbs water. Even "oiled" it caused me problems. never again use with mortar as a binder.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Fine

Installed a new shower stall on the OSB floor. The floor could not bear the weight of a normal dry surface. Went with the Schluter Kerdi system instead. There are many videos on YouTube. Watch her! Everyone! This is a very demanding process. If you get it right it will be an amazing product. Try to skip steps or do it "your way" and you will be in trouble. And most importantly, only use unmodified thinner grout to apply this product and tile on it.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Unfashionable

This product has cost me both time and money

Having never worked with the Kerdi Band before, little did I know that what was sent to me was much thicker than it should have been . I installed it over the curdie board joints in my shower stall. Then when I bought a second roll of Kerdi Tape from another store I found that this material was much thicker and I shouldn't have installed it. There is no point in making a perfectly flat surface (Curdy plate) unnecessarily uneven by applying thicker foil to the seams than necessary. Especially if
