Schwalbe Marathon Almotion Evo Folding Tire // 40-622 (28x1.5') V-Guard Review

These tires are amazing for outdoor cycling in terms of durability and safety. The reflective feature ensures that other riders can easily spot you when cycling in darkness, and the tread is well designed to offer a comfortable ride on uneven terrain. A minor setback would be that they seem to be slightly heavier than other tires in this category. Nonetheless, if you are looking for tires that will serve you during rough outdoor adventures, this is an excellent choice.

V-Guard (tube) version, size 40-622 These tires were very easy to fit, no tools required. They measure 40mm to 41mm on a 25mm (internal) rim at 45psi. On the road they roll well, are very smooth and quiet, and really cushion the impact on broken pavement. I had no problems with straight-line stability or (normal) cornering. The only thing I didn't like about the Almotion tires was that I had a hard time putting the rims on, but that doesn't mean it would be difficult to fit all the rims, just mine could be rims but I will NOT downgrade my star rating because of this, different brands of tires can do this, that is the nature of bike tires.
