🔒 Schwinn Anti-Theft Bike Lock: Enhanced Security Levels 1-5 with Cable and U-Lock Options Review

It breaks easily and I lost my bike. It looks good and works great. But there is no point in buying it as a secret lock (I apologize for the quality of the photo).

was damaged on the second use and the 'metal' crumbled in my hands. I wish I could give zero stars. See attached picture! The past "return window" so now I just get slapped for it.

I've only had this lock for about a month and my bike has since been stolen. The assholes just cut the cable with bolt cutters and took the bike away. No matter how it is arranged on a bike, the cable can be cut. If you want to protect your bike from theft, buy another lock!

At first glance a cheap and effective product. However, after installing it two months ago, the non-locking end of the spool has already come away from the latch (see photo). I can't imagine it's designed to withstand much force. I figured that's what locks were made for - to resist if someone pulls on them and tries to get your valuables. Will not buy from Schwinn again.

The only advantage of this lock is that it is cheap and relatively light. This bike lock seems cost effective when it comes to helping honest people stay honest. However, when I used this bike lock to leave my bike tied to the bike rack at the train station on a Friday night, my mountain bike was stolen. Used to attach a diaper bag to the stroller when we went to Disney World. They're not allowed to attach strollers to fixed fixtures in case the actors need to move them, but it was so great to have this to at least attach my bag to the stroller to prevent easy theft.
