Type of review

We got this for our daughter when she was 9 months old. Fits great, has a nice and correct adjustment lever on the back, very light weight (so not uncomfortable for baby heads/necks) and we got LOTS of adorable comments from others as we drove by - especially the 3D bear. little thing. Baby is now 2 years old and outgrown the helmet (and our friend's baby outgrew him at 15 or 18 months) so definitely not for older kids. I would say best for 9-18 or 9-24 months

Suitable for my 5 month old baby!

I've read review after review of many "baby" helmets and while I'm not a big fan of the teddy bear look, it fits my 5 month old and that's the main thing. For security and adjustment as the child's head grows there is a headband that tightens and loosens, the ear straps and chin strap are separately adjustable to accommodate any head shape. She was comfortable and didn't try to take it off, she chatted and even fell asleep during our 4 mile bike ride. I would highly recommend this Schwinn…

Adorable kids helmet

Very cute helmet. My almost one-year-old son fit perfectly after dressing. Suppose he has enough for another 1-2 years. The built in visor was great and kept the sun out of your eyes. Made everyone smile that we pass. The real bear ears and noses are just a very thin plastic outer shell so they don't add any weight but I also assume they break easily if dropped or hit too hard so maybe not the best choice for a toddler wear it. turn you on and off. We had vents as shown in the picture (see…

Falling apart before we even tried it on.

Even before we tried the helmet on, we immediately noticed that it was defective. The manufacturer uses a form of tape to hold the textured plastic "bear" cover in place. Cheap. The tape is only attached to the plastic cover about 1/8 inch thick, which is not enough, and the adhesive on the tape is not strong enough to hold the cover in place. As a result, the strap proved too difficult to ship alone, and it was broken upon arrival. Zero durability. It's supposed to be a kid's helmet... so I'm…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I have nothing to complain about, everything is fine

I have a daycare center at home and bought 7 of these for my youngest babies and toddlers. WOW! Everyone loves her! I'm so impressed! Yes, the bear emblem is made of lightweight plastic over a standard helmet (safer). But it will only crack if you throw it! We take them off and put them on babies and expect others to do the same. If I let the kids hit them on the floor, I'm sure I'd find a crack. But that's the point. Take care of it, and you will definitely be satisfied! I buy a lot from…

Cutest in Size: Kids Helmets

I have a feeling others could take more stars off for what I'm about to explain, but I'm still impressed with this helmet so I've just removed one. I've been looking for a baby helmet for a long time, there were very few options and this was the cutest. I would also like to point out that I bought it through Revain in good condition and was not disappointed at all. I saved a few bucks and you'd never know it wasn't new. The reason I deducted a star is that the design shell is a bit looser than…
