Good hard training balls but longer than you think

Pretty cute but they definitely go further than you think. If you're using a short iron, you should expect it to go about 90% further than a regular ball. With a longer stick, their light weight will keep them at less than 50% of your normal distance. I've met a few cars regardless of distance and they don't have any dents but they make a loud noise when hitting a vehicle that will make your wife come out and question you. I will probably buy again. They are way better than the yellow styrofoam

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Good foam balls - golf balls

It's really a lot of fun. I live next door and bought these because I kept piercing golf nets when hitting with my long clubs, so I wanted a less damaging ball that offered decent feel and feedback. They don't actually look like real balls, but they're still pretty good for a styrofoam ball. After hitting a few of these balls in the net I kind of forget what a real ball is and they're not that bad. But the most interesting thing started when I decided to meet her in the park. They fly quite…

They work great with the GC2 Launch Monitor

Based on GC2 ball flight data, they fly a little over half the distance of a regular golf ball like the Titleist. However, they're significantly quieter than a regular ball, and because they're much lighter, erratic shots in an enclosed environment like a golf simulator room also deal significantly less damage. Their lightness compared to a regular ball will put off some people who want to "feel" the clubhead's impact on the ball. Thing is, everyone wants that feel, but these balls are intended

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • So-so

Great product - use caution indoors

I was very pleasantly surprised at how real these balls felt and behaved indoors. I always get the best feedback on my swing. They are very strong and hold up really well despite hundreds of hits with my irons and wedges! That being said, I'll be very careful using them indoors, even in the garage. When I was training indoors, I landed a full hit with an iron on one of them and drove my shot into a 1/2 inch thick pane of glass instead of hitting the boulder wall I use for training. I broke off…

  • Great for me

My favorite home exercise ball (so far). Read this comparison.

I have an indoor golf simulator with SkyTrak, but I don't have a good place to hit real golf balls, so I was looking for the best indoor training ball. By best, I mean a ball that mimics a real ball as closely as possible, but is safe enough to play indoors in my non-ideal configuration. So far I've tried almost Golf, GoSports Foam, GoSports Form Flight and this Sci-Core. Also please note that I am not a very good golfer and at 60 my club/ball speed is not very good. According to SkyTrak my…
