Convenient to hold and charge your phone. I use it to charge my phone to play music through the lightning port in the car and it works fine but charges quite slowly. I am still very happy with this product and will probably buy another one for my jeep.

The pack contains only one large and two small plates. The half plate set is not included, even if the picture suggests it. We called Scosche and they sent a set of half plates free of charge without hesitation. If Scosche had just corrected the photo, they wouldn't have had to send out a free product.

I've tried cheaper metal plates and they all peeled off so I bought a schoshe plate for my schoshe faucet vent thinking it was the same brand should work, right. mobile phone case in three days at a normal temperature. I think the magnet on the vent part is too strong for my car. I'm switching to pop sockets.

Small plates have terrible glue. On the back of my phone case, both of them came off as soon as I tried to remove my phone from the magic mount. In addition, I attached a large plate to the back of the phone case. Not only does the large one fit better in the case, but it also allows my phone to charge wirelessly through the case and plate.

I bought this kit thinking the long plastic strip on the back was magnetic. No wrong! Magnet top and bottom only. Totally useless for the Scosche mount I have in my car. I already have a magic mounting plate on the back of my car that works great. It was a waste of money. I would not recommend buying if you use it with a magic mount for your car.
