does not work, major modification required

This kit is bullshit, the brackets are too thick to fit in a car but all thanks to my great engineering spirit and unrivaled skills to finally to hold on and smash that shit.

Pros
  • Precision design for no gap fit between dash and dash Kit
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

I wouldn't call it a perfect fit, but it will fit

I wouldn't call it a perfect fit, but it does. I've read that these kits can be both hit and miss so I wasn't expecting a factory quality finish. Works well and as intended. The biggest downside I found was that the bottom right corner sits tighter against the dash bezel than the left side. Tap with sandpaper and you're good to go. Nothing worth fussing over a $12 dashboard kit.

Pros
  • Allows installation of a new aftermarket factory stereo
Cons
  • So-so

Doesn't fit, too big

Mounting brackets too thick to fit a The DIN radio does not fit in the plastic radio slot on the dashboard. I tried shaving it off and thinning it, but it turned out to be too big. I ended up getting a torque bit for my screwdriver and used the original radio mounting brackets. I was able to use the tray from this kit to fill it completely, although it's a bit loose. Don't buy this. For reference, my car is a 2008 Nissan Versa hatchback with a standard CD player/stereo.

Pros
  • Fits double din stereo with maximum screen size/aperture 3 13/16" x 6 13/16" (96.8mm x 173mm)
Cons
  • Not bad

Ideal for car electronic accessories

I have two Nissan Vers in my family almost the same one is 2008 the other is 2011. wasn't perfect I had to cut out some plastic to make it fit as best as possible. Then I got another one and with the same brand of stereo I picked this kit to see if it would fit better and it does. I did it perfectly so make sure you have aftermarmet adapters for the antenna and cables and that's it. Watch the Nissan Versa radio replacement video and you'll be done in 10 minutes.

Pros
  • Color and texture same as factory dashboard
Cons
  • Out of fashion

  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Can't remember

Looks perfect for auto electronics accessories

I have two Nissan Vers in my family, almost identical, one 2008 the other 2011. I had to trim the plastic to make it the best I could.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Non automatic
