I haven't had a dishwasher in years so I have to every day Wash dishes by hand. I am using the Revain Subscribe and Save program to get a large batch (9 pack) of these Scotch Brite washcloths. For me, these sponges usually last a little over two weeks or so; it really depends on what we have for dinner. I gave them more than one star for absorbency and durability because while these sponges are miserably disappointing in those qualities, as far as I can tell all sponges on the market are the same. You would expect a sponge to absorb a small amount, say 1/4 cup, of liquid in one rub, but that never really happens, you always have to tap it multiple times and then eventually ruin the towel. I grew up using "tea towels" (yes, I'm old!) like tea towels, but only for washing dishes, not for bodies. I have been using Scotch Brite sponges for as long as I can remember. Of all the Scotch Brite sponges, I like the non-scratch sponges the best.
