Description of πŸ”Œ Scotch Super 33+ Black Vinyl Electrical Tape: 3/4 in x 66 ft – Unbeatable Quality & Durability

The tape's pressure-sensitive, rubber-resin adhesive and a durable PVC backing provide great protection. Stands up to the elements: from UV rays and moisture to alkalis, acids and corrosion. Tape dimensions: 3/4 in x 66 ft x 7 mil. Black tape works great with rubber and synthetic splicing compounds. Operates in temperatures ranging from 0 to 221 degrees F (-18 to 105 degrees C).

Very good tape will buy again

Good quality tape that works. I don't need duct tape often, but when I do I want it to work. This band does. It is smooth to the touch, easily detaches from the reel and rolls easily. I've found that no matter how I wrap it, it stays in place. A wrap layer is strong enough to hold most cables and wires together and I think most people use them. That means you don't waste anything I like. I also found this tape to stay on the roll for a while. I had a reel that hadn't been used for several years

Great glue, easy to work with.

The tape is excellent! It's not very thick but will do most types of electrical work/repairs. The adhesive is strong, does not weaken or "bubble" after the tape is applied. When taken off the roll it is easy to cut and wrap around wires without being too sticky. In the past, when the tape got stuck and I couldn't pull it off, I had to throw away the entire length, which was frustrating when working on multiple projects. Not to mention that it comes in a plastic case that helps trap dust. and…

Good ribbon, decent spool size

The classic black ribbon used everywhere by electricians professionally. This 3M is particularly decent, with good stretch and a decent stickiness without immediately sticking to itself. It comes off the roll easily and cuts cleanly. It contains no lead. For simplicity, it's best not to use .Quibbles. There's a very strong vinyl smell when I'm working on a new roll, I hate thinking about what I'm breathing in (especially after seeing the California cancer warning on the back). My reel came in a

Sticks well Good for tape

I bought this tape to put on the paneling of my apartment door because the door was installed incorrectly and is not sealing well. Used it more as a blackout tool so passers-by couldn't see the light in my apartment and thought my door wasn't locked. Worked great! Even with the friction of opening and closing the door, it holds up much better than the old tape I tried to use and had to re-tap the side panel at least once a week. I've since used this to hide some sharp hooks so my cat doesn't…

One of my 2 cassettes

I use this and Super 88 cassette depending on the application. Or whatever I'm finding. I've used cheaper tapes, but this brand's stitching adheres best and leaves less sticky, dark marks on clothing than other brands. I use it on the wiring, over a rubber coating of the same brand and I stick it on a silicone tape to protect it from abrasion. He's keeping himself well under control. Sand and grease will damage any tape, so clean it first. What worries me the most is the chaos created by other…

Leaves a sticky residue

In general, I'm a fan of 3M tapes, including their Super 33+. However, 33 is much "stickier" than Super 88. If your application may require you to remove the tape at some point, or if you use tape to temporarily hold something in place, then I strongly recommend you don't To do buy this version (Super 33) and buy Super 88 instead. My experience is that 33 is much more prone to leaving unwanted sticky marks that stain or leave marks on some plastics and other similar smooth surfaces. With Tape…
