You'd think for a hundred dollars it would last more than 6 months. My initial rating was 5 stars but I downgraded it to 2. It seems like I always have to work on it. I want them to do something better.

This switch is easy to replace. Turn off the power or turn off the power at the switch. Remove the front grille and front cover (1 screw). Turn off the power. You can access the switch from the front panel. Disconnect the two electrical harnesses and disconnect the small pressure hose. The switch is held by 2 screws. The first switch failed about 3.5 years after the machine was installed. Then, after a year and a half, the switch replacement failed. A year later, another Switch replacement failed. And finally, two months later, that switch failed. Scotsman Technical Support blamed the problem on water, although the water entering this unit is filtered and we have no other issues with other units that use filtered water.
