Description of Scout PD

Scout PD is the next-generation digital evidence management system (DEMS) that provides a advanced analytics for investigations. It drastically improves chain-of-custody, collection of evidence, crowd sourcing tips, collaboration and file & case sharing. Automate annoying tasks and accelerate discovery in video, images, and documents. It runs on the same cloud that FBI CJIS Division runs its production workload on. Scout PD provides turnkey compliance for CJIS, Federal Tax Information (IRS Pub 1075), DoD SRG Cloud Computing, and 28 CFR Part 23. Scout PD can also be deployed in ten (10) regions globally. It is a force multiplier for understaffed law enforcement agencies and delivers cost breakevens with efficiency gains of 1-2%, so it pays for itself.

Quickly get everyone up-to speed in minutes

I like how fast it can process photos/videos once you upload them to your account. Some functions are not user friendly but after playing with it for awhile everything becomes easy to use. There should be more features added as they continue development so users have many options when using this software. This allows us to quickly share information amongst all parties involved within our department without having to send emails back and forth or wait days for someone else's email response. We…

Helps you to quickly collect evidence from law enforcement files and videos.

-Easily share information with investigators.-Provides fast access to relevant search terms when reviewing files or videos associated with an incident.-Ability to use mobile applications like Android/iOS devices which makes it easy to work from anywhere at any time without getting tied down by your computer. I would love if there was more customization options available but this platform does provide some great tools! This software has been very helpful during our investigations into different

Best cloud service out right know !!

The ability to have all my files accessible from anywhere with an internet connection has been amazing! I wish there was more variety when it came to templates but other than that its great!! No dislike about this product at least not yet. Make sure you read through their FAQ's because they do go into detail as far how many times someone can use up your storage space etc.. This software allows me access anytime i need which makes life so much easier especially since we are always connected now

  • Free version is good enough if used correctly (not overusing)
  • Very easy way make documents available offline too without any issues whatsoever
  • Allows sharing between colleagues who don't work together directly, just by emailing them links instead
