Suitable for small jobs: Hand tools

I bought this for my daughter so that she would have something to take care of her apartment. It won't be as good as a toolbox full of different types of screwdrivers and wrenches. But it's better than keeping a whole set of rarely used tools.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Too long to wait

Good screwdriver set

This screwdriver set has everything I need. The price fits my budget. I put it in a pen holder along with the handles. Changing heads is very easy. I would recommend it to my friend who needs a handy tool right in his pocket.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • For old people

nice set even has a Robertson square

I basically ordered this for a size 1 square (Robertson). The motorhome we ordered is from Canada and uses these square head bolts. This is convenient for those who cannot fit US sizing. The instrument itself is well made. It feels good in the hand. I like it and I'm glad I have it. Coach owners should have one of these handy.

Suitable for occasional or recyclable use

It works great - a darn cool tool set for the price - but its quality isn't up to heavy use. Spend a little more and get a well-known quality brand. But having a small Phillips screwdriver with three Phillips and three flat head screws in your tool bag comes in handy in many situations. No need to keep changing the main screwdriver and repeating the same task over and over again. So no professional quality. No lifesaver. But good enough and really useful as an occasional or secondary tool. The…

Compact. Great for remote work.

Nice and compact. Suitable for an apartment dweller or for those preparing for a zombie apocalypse. When folded it is 6" long (6-1/2" with bat). the ones I'd go with - the T15H and T20H have hollow centers for those crude "guard" screws on the back of your microwave (if you need to replace the fuse). - Rubber grip is comfortable and pleasant. OK: - The handle has a slight tilt due to the length-adjustable design. - Good retail price at $10. CONS: - Not a quick change like 4-in-1 screwdrivers.

Decent inexpensive ratchet screwdriver

This is a good inexpensive ratchet screwdriver. It's on sale right now for $8. Most ratchet screwdrivers are more expensive. It looks cheap but works well. Bit tips are not magnetized. The rear ends are magnetized so they are attached to the handle. The problem with all multi-bit screwdrivers that screw in the base cap and hide the other bits is that using the screwdriver will result in the end cap unscrewing unintentionally, which is a bit annoying. Examples of the best multi-bit screwdrivers…

Quality costs you more!

All plastic case looks very cheap and the plastic is generally not the best quality. To be honest it looks and feels like a dollar store instrument. The bits and bit holder are strong and of better quality than the main body, but the bits themselves fit too freely in the tool and the magnetic "grip" is very weak. Switching between ratcheting and locking positions is clumsy and not smooth. I don't think you should expect anything better at this price point; because you would pay significantly…
