They looked very nice in the pictures but after receiving the actual product it didn't look as expected with the money spent. It is definitely NOT the same as advertised 😕

Until I bought these screwdrivers I messed up quite a few screws on my Honda Ridgeline. I didn't know there was such a difference until I watched the Cruiseman's Garage videos on YouTube.

This set was used to disassemble jet ski carburetors, and on the second carburetor the tips twisted and began to loosen the screw. Beats the goal of buying a JIS kit if it removes the screw anyway. I would spend the extra money and buy a drum set. Disappointed as it should make things easier.

Most guys can get by with Philips screwdrivers when working on their bikes. But a set of "expensive" JIS (Japanese Industrial Standard) screwdrivers will go a long way in preventing those Philips LOOKING screws from being extruded or rounded on Japanese carburetors. JIS screwdrivers go a little deeper and tighter into the screws.

I just received my (2) sets of these drivers. I'm sorry but I'm adding a BS flag, I don't think these are genuine JIS B 4633 specification drivers. I took measurements and checked the angles and they are the same as regular Phillips drivers. It seems to be a new international standard, DIN 5260 or ISO 8764-1, not JIS B 4633.

Just used these JIS or JIS Phillips Bit Set on my metric gear, they work fantastic! If you work with a lot of Asian gear, this is a good set to buy that specific Asian gear. I have several metric bikes and other gear made in Asia and have found them to be good for not removing the bolts that most Asian gear have. .

Used for Japanese motorcycles and cars. American Phillips screwdrivers round out the heads of standard Japanese screws. This is prevented in particular with very tight or corroded screws. They also work well with standard Phillips screws. This is a well-made, beautiful screwdriver set that will keep you from turning into a savage beast when the going gets tough.

These are well made, handy screwdrivers that solve the problem that Phillips (or more specifically JIS) screws are often rounded. I just recently found out about some "standard" for Phillips head screws. I bought these and have been able to hold Phillips or JIS screws with confidence ever since. I highly recommend them if you are working on your Japanese motorcycle/car or assembling certain furniture.

My husband really enjoys using the JIS kit on his bike! The advantage becomes clear as soon as you see one of these screwdrivers! Ordinary Phillips screwdrivers get the job done. They don't quite match the bolts his bike has and end up chewing on the bolt head. JIS screwdrivers fit really deep into the screw head because they don't have a point, they have a flat end. What difference does it make to undo the screws now. He is very happy with this set!
