Not a bad sponge for dishwashing. It lasts about as long as any sponge. The brush side is fine, but for really stubborn stains on pots and pans you may need something stronger.

Was hoping for a thicker and possibly rougher surface for a tough clean, but it handles everyday dishwashing well. Not what you'll find in the store for 0.99 cents, nor of the highest quality, but somewhere in between. For the price and the kit you get, they get the job done without much pretense.

After cleaning the frying rack nine times, the abrasive surface is almost gone. They last a month with heavy use and a few months if you just wash the dishes. The particles that wear out almost dissolve in water, which bodes well for the biodegradability claim. Now it's in my compost. Will be updated if it fails.

I didn't know what to expect from these biodegradable cleaning sponges but I'm happy to report that they work surprisingly well. All of my pots and pans are non-stick and of course they work well on these surfaces without scratching them, but they also work well on baked dishes with plates, forks and utensils. For the green option compared to chemical based cleaning sponges, I really like these. Highly recommended.
