The bottom line is this product doesn't do what it was designed to do. The material stretches too much to effectively hold the Octo. I've tried using this retainer on several dives and my Octo has fallen out every time. I cannot recommend this product.

I bought this with the expectation that it would fit around my Octo's mouthpiece and hold it securely in place. However, it ripped and broke on first use. I had to put my octo in my BC pocket which is not only dangerous but also causes sand and mud to get into the BC.
