They are cool! Work exactly as expected!

Second order. First order was last year and they worked really great but I can't remember where I put the tiny bottle now. Delivery is great too! Received two days after ordering. I use them to drill holes in PVC pipe to make an irrigation system for my raised bed garden. No problem with these little drills. They work exactly as expected. The price is good too, so if I lose them again I don't mind reordering.

Pros
  • Drills precise holes
Cons
  • Something else

It pays to have extra drills - you're bound to break some of them.

These are quite small drills - the first one I broke before turning the drill on. It was my fault. At Ace, they're $3 for a single drill, and getting 10 for $4 (including shipping) is a great deal. I used them to drill 1400 small holes in 170 feet of 3/4 inch (200 psi) white pipe for my garden watering system. I've only used two of these - the one I broke and another. They worked fine.

Pros
  • Made from high speed steel
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

but they work great at 1200 rpm.

Not that it was unexpected, but these ultra-thin drill bits bent badly when working with round objects (like a pipe). As long as there's a center hole to get the Leading drill bit will do what you want. One thing I've found when using them (particularly in a drill press) is that you want to reduce the RPM on them. I've screwed two of these by drilling through thin brass at 2000rpm, but at 1200rpm they work fine.

Pros
  • Size: 57
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
