I put brown paper in the bag and then dipped it in a big pot. After an hour the paper was still dry. You may be wondering why brown paper because you can tell if it's wet just by looking at it. And if you ask me, will I put money and documents there? Yes. In water? Hmm, NO.

They are great for phone, lunch etc. The only problem is to fix them ON the boat. They could really use a stronger bond as the one they have is easy to break if that's all that keeps them on board. Best used to keep your belongings in a compartment on the divider so they don't have to rely on a 'tie'. Otherwise? Very functional and inexpensive equipment. I have different sizes, very comfortable.

This cover is not see-through or touchable. You cannot use your phone or camera over it. To do this you will have to take it out and risk damaging it with water. However, when our canoe started to sink, this bag held up pretty well. In my pocket I had cigarettes with a cell phone and some paper. It was a bit damp/humid in it, but the air in the bag kept it afloat for the most part. The paper was still crumpled and my phone was fine after the pouch was filled with water for over a minute.

After reading some reviews about detaching the Velcro on the bag, I was still reluctant to buy it because of the low price, thinking that people would not like the Just open the bag without paying attention. I was wrong. I was as gentle as I could when undoing the velcro, but the strip was still separating from the bag after opening it only twice. However, a bit of superglue glued it back together and the bag now works perfectly. Uncomfortable and uncomfortable, but not the end of the world…

This bag is the perfect size and made from the right material to keep your valuables safe and secure when you're out and about wet.
