- low price for 1 TB capacity and 7200 rpm
- Got a defective copy
- Quiet, fast.
- Not yet.
- First day. There was a ssd drive ocz 240 GB went out after 4.5 years. I bought this one for the money. Windows 10 with usb got up in 7-8 minutes after ssd, of course it seemed for a long time not faster than I expected . I won’t say that the PC began to work at least a tone louder.
- hard to find
- I bought a Seagate ST1000DM010 here. Pretty decent screw. No differences from previous series were found. Quietly works. No crackling, no knocking - it's not audible at all. Benchmark HDTunePro 5.5 gave out: 199, 167 and 103 Mb / s. Accordingly: Maximum, average and minimum reading speeds. The schedule is very smooth with no gaps. The disk is connected via SATA2. The temperature is around 30 degrees.
- See comments about buying a second disc of the same kind!
- Nimble, relatively quiet, good in terms of energy consumption, does not heat up, compact size and not heavy. Stable in work. No failures, bad sectors, bads, and the like were found. And, of course, the optimal volume. For me personally, two separate 1TB drives are better than one 2TB hard drive.
- Not Found. YET!
- Price
- Disgusting shipping packaging
- The packaging is secure.
- Price
- Mints on the case, you can see in the photo.
- Price
- Noisy
- Reliability, durability
- Suspiciously thin and with one plate per terabyte
- 1. Volume (as a second disk) 2. Firm - for me proven by six years of work without complaints of the main disk 3. The data transfer rate is at the level of 20-30 mb, I was surprised. After filling with 500 gigs, the speed keeps, then we'll see
- In fact, 1.81 - 190 gigs was not counted, robust, but tolerable, I have it as a second one, for multimedia
- -Quiet -Fairly efficient -Cold
- The price would be less, but Seagate is not to blame here
- Volume - price
- Perhaps the problem is only on my copy. More details in the comments below.
