- Price, declared characteristics, well-known manufacturer
- Reliability
- nimble, reasonably quiet, good in terms of energy consumption, does not heat up, compact in size, and does not weigh a lot. Consistent in one's efforts. There were no failures, bad sectors, bads, or anything else of the sort that was found. And, naturally, the optimum level of volume. Two separate hard drives of 1 terabyte each are, in my opinion, superior to a single 2 terabyte disk.
- No Results Found. YET!
- 1) Very persistent, having been wound for 6700 hours; there is not a single broken block, and there are few sluggish sectors. 2) The rate of linear reading is even 10 megabytes per second faster than that of the Toshiba p300.
- Volume - price
- It's possible that the issue is specific to my copy. Additional information can be found in the comments section below.
- I was able to acquire a Seagate ST1000DM010 from this location. Quite a respectable screw. There were found to be no differences from the prior series. Works in a hushed manner. It is completely inaudible; there is no crackling and no knocking at all. The results of the benchmark HDTunePro 5.5 were as follows: 199, 167, and 103 Mb/s. In accordance with this, here are the fastest, slowest, and average reading speeds. The program is absolutely seamless and there are no breaks in it. SATA2 is the interface that is used to connect the drive. Currently, the temperature is hovering around 30 degrees.
- Please refer to the remarks regarding the purchase of a second disc of the same sort!
- Persistence, dependability
- Thinner than one would expect, and with only one plate per terabyte
- Not expensive, quiet, nimble as for an HDD screw, well, it has not failed in principle for more than 5 years.
- For this money, yes, they are basically non-existent.
