Everything about the product satisfied me, the price is perfect.

Speeds at the beginning of the disk: Sequential Read (Q= 32,T= 1) : 22220220 MB/s; Sequential Write (Q= 32,T= 1) : 204.343 MB/s. At the end of the order of 160 MB / s. With sequential reading / writing, it works without much noise. On accident, it clicks slightly. Immediately, the field of purchase drove stress tests for several hours. I've been using it for a month and a half with no problems. The purchase is 100% satisfied.

Pros
  • - Quick - not expensive
Cons
  • - Supplied in a sachet, packaging could be better

A good product at a good price, I advise you to try it.

The first had problems with the positioning of the heads and the speed of spin-up. And 9 green sectors. The second green had already 29 pieces. But it turned around with no problem. The third turned out to be without extremes. The norms were spinning and there were only 10 green ones. So I began to use the word everything. Only my barracuda, released 9 years ago and having 16,000 operating hours, has only 1 green sector. So it goes. Oh yes, a week later, Windows lost the boot sector. I do not…

Pros
  • Quiet
Cons
  • Manufacturing quality.

I like everything, the price and quality are acceptable.

The case stands on the table (there is no way to put it under the table, there is no space), the front wall is all open (mesh), the carriage with disks is installed near it. The disk is used for storing files (there are no games on it, only documents, photographs, etc.), therefore, during normal work, you can sometimes hear how it rustles under your ear, but when you start switching to it (namely, open folder shortcuts from the desktop that lead to hard, or you need to attach a picture on the…

Pros
  • What you need for storing files Cheap Relatively fast
Cons
  • Noisy

A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

Bought to replace an old one that was failing. But upon purchase, I found that this one behaves strangely. The disk periodically spun up, everything was recorded with an error. There were problems even with the installation of Windows. I could not immediately write a review, I was very upset, I thought I got married. As it turned out, the "podlyanku" gave the power supply. I replaced the power supply unit, now everything works well, the system has become many times faster. The disk worked for…

Pros
  • -Pretty fast compared to my old one -Cheap -Stylish
Cons
  • - Supplied in a sachet. It's a shame.

I do not advise buying this, it does not meet the stated standards.

Disgusting terabytes have gone to Seagate in recent years. Of the three disks of the same model, one worked for a year, the second for two, and the third for 4 months. At first, it began to give errors when copying to / from a disk, then it generally began to fall off during operation - it worked stably for only a little over a month after purchase. Don't be fooled by the cheapness, pay extra and get something better.

Pros
  • One of the cheapest models on sale.
Cons
  • Died 4 months after purchase.

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

What can I say about the noise - if you put the disk on the table, you can hardly hear it, you can hear the head (like all disks). And if you put it on the mouse pad, then vice versa, the disk becomes much louder. So, all sorts of anti-vibration pads / skids in cases, on the contrary, only increase the noise. I also took a second such disk, and I’ll say the following to those who like to run Victoria when connecting a disk - I connected the disk to a hot one, the files were copied to it…

Pros
  • 1) Quite tenacious, wound 6700 hours - not a single broken block, and there are few slow sectors. 2) The linear reading speed is even 10 megabytes higher than that of the Toshiba p300

Never buy this product.

here it is, Guys! I bought this drive new, specifically for storing bitcoin in cold storage, installed Windows, downloaded the client bit and turned off the hard drive (it was in a case in the closet), then turned it on a year and a half later, ated the program and turned it off again, put it in the closet. then a year later he turned it on, took off the cue ball and started using it. I played myself, I played it, the disk was very smart, like an ssd, no problems, and so on, and one day I press

Pros
  • very fast.
Cons
  • broke down after 300 hours of operation, a friend has an exact history, also after + - the same operating time interval

Very high quality product, it's not the first time I bought it.

My old hard drive of the same brand is already over 12 years old / 27530 hours of operation, despite the fact that it has already begun to crackle louder, it still works without failures. Therefore, I decided to take a garbage dump (system on ssd) for a file, a new one of the same brand and did not regret it, with a rather quiet operation, it is inferior to the ssd in speed of only two, while 1000GB and 2.5k. No, great!

Pros
  • According to CrystalDiskMark - 212 Mb for reading, 185 Mb for writing. Low noise level, given that it is fast, cold and a normal price.
Cons
  • Haven't revealed yet

A normal product, but they wanted more for the money.

No complaints about the speed of work. But the vibration, unfortunately, is too noticeable. Over the past 2.5 years, this is the 3rd hard drive I bought, the first two were from WD. So, at least the first time they did not create tangible noise, the same one - from the first minutes of work. It is the motor that creates the sound, the reading heads work quite quietly. Apparently the standards are now.

Pros
  • - High read/write speed
Cons
  • - Vibration and noise

What did I pay for? This product is a failure.

I bought the disc, because I always thought that the Seagate is of good quality. But the disc did not last even 3 years. I came to restore the service, they said that 20k and 50/50 information will be or not. The person who works there explained that the Seagates are not the same anymore and how 5 years ago they did not make discs. I myself have a disc almost 10 years old. Works like clockwork so far. And then they showed me how many disks are carried to recovery service centers. Of the 20…

Wrong item received. Not as pictured

The package was the correct model number but the part pictured was not included. Have an external hard drive. sent back

Pros
  • Looking forward to it
Cons
  • Useless features

Revainrating 1 out of 5

The DOA system refused to recognize it.

DOA. tech tried several configurations and the system refused to recognize the drive. I sent a return request, we'll see what happens. I think Seagate isn't as reliable as it used to be.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • infinitely sluggish

Works Great: Internal Hard Drives

My computer broke, I took it to Best Buys and the tech told me the hard drive was defective and it would cost about $200 to replace. I never opened the computer, but I decided to take a risk and find out how to replace it with You Tube. Then I ordered this Seagate Barracuda hard drive and installed it myself for about 1/5 the price and now my computer works like new. I also learned a lot in the process. I recommend it to everyone.

Pros
  • Nice
Cons
  • Good but not great

Useful for making backups

After buying hard drive docking stations for a couple of my most commonly used computers, I now use external 500M/1T internal drives to quickly switch between backups and other data. Docking stations can hold two drives (even clone one onto the other), so now I have no excuse for not making regular backups. No need to open cases or clamshells - just turn off the station, plug it in, turn on the power, verify that the systems recognize the drive(s), and you're good to go. The drives don't even…
