I use this for my Whisper filter - press it between the plastic filter frame and the front of the filter. Seems to be working great so far. - Will buy again

Was expecting a bit more as it's twice the price of what I usually use but almost the same size. The leaf is good instead of loose thread. Let this work in 2 mixed reef tanks and 1 plant tank. At the moment I'm satisfied.

This filter thread does a great job of keeping the water crystal clear for my fish. So you can see how it looks before and how it looks after in the picture I showed you. It just collects everything. It is thick but not tightly woven. Maybe something like a soft cheap pillow. It really collects a lot of things and as soon as it turns brown I change it.
