Seapora Digital Thermometer With Probe Review

I love this digital thermometer, it's a lot easier to read than the thermometers I use to get stuck in my reptile tank. I used to have thermometers that stuck to the inside of the terrarium for a while, then they lost their grip on the glue and I had to try to find them lying on the bottom of the terrarium hoping I could read them through the glass, there I'm too small to get in. This thermometer hangs outside where it is easy to read.

I bought this as part of a new tank build. "Honestly, given the reviews, I didn't quite trust him. But since it was a new aquarium and there were no fish in it, that wasn't a problem. However, I bought 2 other old style thermometers as a backup. One showed this as a low level report. The next one matched that by a degree or two. That brought the first one back and I kept the other old style as a backup for this one. Overall I'm happy with it.

I love these thermometers. I have used many types of aquarium thermometers but these are my favorites. The wire is long enough to run through the bottom of my 100 gallon tank, right where I want it. They don't last as long as I'd like (usually about a year) but for the price it's not bad. Also, I cannot guarantee that I have never wet the thermometer case. I think that's why I lost the two I have. They are MILLIONS of times prettier than any other mercury thermometer that attaches to the inside

Great little thermometer. I have several. This last one I ordered is what I use for my ball python aviary to control the temperature of its heating element. It has a simple LCD screen. This screen doesn't have a backlight, but I think that's a good thing because the battery wears out faster. Has a black cord with suction cup. The suction cup sticks well to glass or plastic.
