Garbage! falling apart!

Last year I forgot to click "post", but I still want to leave a review. Used less than a month and already falling apart. The blue shell is torn off and separated from the core in some places. Like a snake shedding its skin. The blue powder is everywhere because of the ruined blue coating. See photo. You get what you pay for I guess.

Terrible quality, save your money don't take it!

This just isn't a bad rope, it's absolutely awful and shouldn't be legal to buy. It started snapping and snapping on dock lines after a month of careful use. We saved a few dollars on this rope, but our motor ended up losing thousands of dollars after the ropes broke. Save your money and your boat and don't buy this terrible item. The company that sells this should be ashamed.

Dockline Supreme - Boating

I've been boating my entire life, from Florida to California to the Abaco Islands. This is easily the best docking line you can buy. Aside from being well made, the gold/white is beautiful too. I use 5/8" x 20' because it fits nicely into the boat spikes and still has enough power to tow a 50 foot boat. By threading a loop through the center of the spike and then threading the line back through thread the loop, it provides a secure fit that won't loosen during use Flexibility is great for…

Good price but very easy to rub

Can't find a price on this line compared to buying it at your local boat shop. However, my experience after a few months is that this line is NOT abrasion resistant at all. I used it to tie my 23ft parker to its ram and replaced some lines I've had for 5+ years which showed no signs of wear. Within two months these new cables wear out badly and I don't expect them to last more than a full season before breaking. Don't trust them to withstand everyday use as dock lines

Looks and feels great but pulls and snags easily

I had high hopes for these connecting lines. They look heavy and luxurious, like a satin robe. Unfortunately, they pull and hang like a loose knit sweater. The outer braided lines are not tight at all. You can simply push them back with your thumb to reveal the white inner core. In my lake, most zip ties are crude wooden pontoons that are easy to hook onto and pull out of those loose cords. Most can be put back on the rope, but I don't want to worry about that every time. I hate returning them…

I would marry him if it were legal

I never thought I would have strong enough opinions on ROPE to bother to write a review, but alas I am me here. I tie loads to my truck a few times a week, I'm talking lumber, appliances, trash, hay bales, motorcycles, grills, whatever, and I've probably tied it to the bed of my truck at some point. This rope holds up just like it does and ties knots easily, knots also come undone easily when you loosen them unlike some ropes that lock the knot if you pull too hard. It is soft but very durable.

  • Practical matter

Good price compared to relatively short lifespan

I have used these docks for two seasons and found them to be of acceptable quality considering the price. I installed a chafe guard (I used old fire hose material and tied them with zip ties to hold them in place). What's Good: Nicely made, good hand, length as expected, good cushioning as you'd expect from nylon. Not so good: Even in places where they're not in the irritation zones, the lines have started to blur - meaning the threads are snapping, probably from sun exposure after 2 years in a
