After years of use, my old bow roller hardened and one of the bells broke. This one looks and fits well, but it's too early to know how long it will last. I found that the outside diameter of the roller is equal to the diameter of the bells. Due to the thickness of the mount I would expect the nose roll to be a slightly smaller diameter to guide the nose of the boat to center.
