Business Class WiFi. a network that just works. perfect!

I tried 2 different mesh systems at home before deciding to buy the Meraki Go set. The other two seem to be working fine, with a few hiccups here and there. During the "pandemic” time when 7 people were at home and a few WiFi devices, I started losing a lot of connections, kids complaining that their online classes were being cut, TVs reconnecting to WiFi had to , restart router etc. I bought this Meraki Go router (also a security device) and 2 Meraki Go access points. 1 access point is wired…

Pros
  • Finally bought

Easy to set up. Easy to use. LOVE the app!

I recently started working full time from home and my old system which I won't name didn't work. I bought a firewall and access point and the performance improvement was noticeable almost immediately after installing it myself three days ago. With my kids using the internet all the time and I work from home I needed to make sure my internet was secure and I'm very happy with the easy setup with the app. Highly recommended!

Pros
  • Crossing my fingers
Cons
  • Functionality

CISCO A+++ EQUIPMENT

I have to say that I've been in the IT industry for a very long time and have dabbled with many different brands and manufacturers over time, dabbled right there and with Cisco I was very happy. The customization, visibility and support features are absolutely A++ and very easy to set up. I contacted Cisco support James, he walked me through each step to make sure everything is optimized and working properly. He is very knowledgeable and was able to answer any questions I had regarding my setup

Pros
  • even old fashioned understandable
Cons
  • Some little things

Shame and Sham - Computers and Accessories

Run far, run fast. This tragically limited hardware is completely useless for most applications with a 50-client limit. I didn't have about 50 active clients before it crashed. This is a scam, Cisco plays on its name and offers less than SOHO. PAIN and PAIN!

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Compatibility

Feature issues and poor support

Email support only. Support is slow to respond to emails. You don't need to be informed. Some functions do not work, e.g. B. the settings for video usage. MerakiGO makes Meraki look bad. Also needs to be managed by an application, requires desktop management.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Something else

Not for the faint of heart.

Hate the app you have to use. The options are very limited. According to the registration, WLAN appeared neither on the two mobile phones nor on the new laptop with Win 10. Although it is set to broadcast. Next I will try to create the given ones manually. I've installed hundreds of Wi-Fi modems, in some cases it's easy and in others it's difficult. Although the LAN connection works fine.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • High price

Not what he claims to be.

Bought for evaluation. However, there were difficulties with the operation and only the interface was finally removed from the phone by the phone application, which was constantly creating new profiles and could not delete them. Contacted support but only via email and not very helpful. Worked with other Meraki products with no issues through a direct connection. Not recommended for the average household or business and recommends working with regular Meraki products.

Pros
  • Best
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

What is the PITA product

I have a Meraki in my office and it's great. But then again, this is a professional product. Meraki GO. I would not recommend using it. Ah, it works. And if you just need it to work, great. But the moment you want to do some administrative work, you can start punching yourself in the face. You can view very little information about the device itself. Instead, the device prompts you to log in to the Meraki website. Once you do this, the website will let you know that you are using their MerakiGo

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Crumpled

Don't buy this you will only hate yourself for it

I have been using Cisco products at work and at home since 1999, Meraki myself for 4 years. Saw Meraki-Go and thought ok give it a try, it's cheaper and more affordable compared to Ubiquiti (2021 is currently short on Covid chips). Configuration is simplified to a mobile app with few configuration items. It's great if life were that easy, but with the default configurations, it can't even forward traffic to its own Meraki Go 24-port PoE switch on VLAN 1, Trunk. I had to dig through my tricks to

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
