The latest version of the Arduino IDE doesn't support them, so don't buy them thinking they're something like Arduino. The tutorials and instructions you have read are for casual users only. All you have to do is find "Arduino ide loading failed". You will see that there is a fatal bug in the Arduino IDE that prevents you from uploading board definitions for it. This lovely little MCU is perfect for anyone trying to improve their Arduino projects. The only problem is that you have to buy a pack of cheap level switches (I recommend 10pcs 4ch toggle switches) to convert all 5V signals to the 3V signals that XIAO needs. This purchase was for a box of 3 Seeeduino XIAO Arduino compatible controllers based on the SAMD21 microcontroller. I have issues with them being unreliable when making a USB connection when using the Arduino IDE to upload a sketch to them.
