    First, let me reiterate what some other people have said: your computer must have a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort mode. If you're not sure, check your computer's USB-C port to see if there's a small "D"-like icon. This means it is compatible. If not, it probably won't work. Working from home has been excruciating as I keep swapping cables and everything between my PC and my work laptop. This thing has made my life a lot easier.     Only works with the equipment specified in the ad.

    I tried it on a regular HP laptop with a USB-C port. It didn't work fully. A USB-C connection needs to have some performance, and apparently many USB-C connections on a PC do NOT have that kind of performance. Other than that, the features that worked were fine. I returned it but not because of a product defect.

    Good for the price in Computer Accessories & Peripherals

    So for the price I think it's a really great product... I have no problems with it. The only thing I would like to say is that it gets very hot. If you move it, the screens will go black for a minute and then turn back on. The last thing I will say is that it will only connect 2 monitors. It has 2 HDMI ports and a display port, but I couldn't get the display port to work with my monitors. So I use 2 HDMI ports and then connect my third monitor to my laptop because luckily it also has a port.

    Just what I need for an extended desktop

    Exactly as advertised. I was able to use it to extend (rather than just duplicate) my desktop screen from my Lenovo Thinkpad X1 Carbon to my ASUS HDMI monitor. I have two of these monitors, but my laptop only has one HDMI port, so I used this adapter to connect the HDMI cable from the second monitor to one of the laptop's USB-C ports.     Plenty of connectivity

    Great little dock for the money. Using a laptop with only one HDMI port, this little device allowed me to set up two monitors, and the USB and other ports allowed me to tidy up the cables a bit. If I could suggest one thing it would be to remove the branding from the top of the device and maybe put it on the bottom. The branding obviously doesn't detract from the features or the quality of the work, but it would look more elegant in my opinion.

    Good unit but choose carefully

    This seems to work - haven't had it in a while but the connections do what they're supposed to. I should have spent more time choosing a model: I'm really missing a USB-C power distribution port - that would have freed up another port on the laptop. This one works, but I'd rather have a free port.

    Great looking product - works 60% of the time.

    This is a nice looking product that doesn't seem to work well with my Mac. Reconnect several times for screen mirroring to work. My computer sometimes recognizes that there is a product there, but nothing happens at the end of the monitor. I'm not sure if this product is fully finished.

    The HDMI ports stopped working after a few months.

    I used this adapter for my 2020 Macbook Pro as an external display and charging station. I let the screen go off after 10 minutes but came back after about 30 minutes to find my computer was no longer connecting to the monitor. I thought it might be an HDMI cable so I replaced the original cable with one that I knew worked and it still didn't connect. Then I changed the adapter, went back to the old cable and voila, everything worked. This item was pretty cheap I think you get what you pay for.

    You get what you pay for.

    I bought this product thinking it was the best thing in the world. This amazing $40 docking station (at the time). Now anything I hit or poke, even remotely, triggers and temporarily disables anything connected to it. I thought maybe the HDMI cables were bad, so I tested the theory. I sat still and poked around in the docking station for a bit and everything went dead. My only regret is that it's too late to go back.
