Goodbye helmet cables!

Bought Freewire to use on a 2004 Honda Goldwing. I didn't like dealing with the helmet cable. Freewire has eliminated the helmet cable! So far it works very well!

Pros
  • Good thing
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

Fits Accessory

This is another Bluetooth adapter from Sena that doesn't come with a wall charger or an easy way to connect to a bike battery. Otherwise you're stuck with the internal battery and it only seems to last about 4 hours. (Do not change the battery here either)! Works as described but the cigarette lighter is unusable for the Honda Goldwing. How about a cable so we can connect the power supply to the accessory port on the fuse box?

Pros
  • Excellent Overall Performance
Cons
  • Almost OK

Sena FreeWire - Additional documentation required.

After installing Sena Freewire on my 2014 Goldwing (very easy), I found that the troubleshooting documentation was a bit missing (not much at all). The audio I was outputting via Freewire to the Sena 20S Bluetooth headset I connected it to was very difficult to hear. Yes! As for me, I forgot you need to turn up the volume on the Goldwing's infotainment system. Viola! It works out. And i love it!

Pros
  • Enjoy
Cons
  • Exchange Availability

No support for Sena

I called Sena prior to purchase to ensure it would work with my bike/helmet and power ports. I was assured of that. When I received the item it didn't work with either the helmet or the power connections that I discussed with them. I contacted support and ended up speaking to a manager who refused to do anything. I plan on going back to the original seller as Sena won't do anything for me. Buyer beware, his staff doesn't seem able to provide accurate information

Excellent cable cutter

I liked this tool because it really works and I was finally able to cut the cable. It took me some effort to figure out how to set it up to work best, but it's no different than adding other new electronic hardware to my bike. The Sena 20 required a firmware update by downloading it from the Sena website. I've had to do this for all of a company's electronics that I've bought for my Gamin GPS navigators, for example. Businesses are constantly updating their software. Being Bluetooth, syncing…

Pros
  • Heavy duty
Cons
  • Damaged
