Excellent product for handrails

excellent product. You only have to send a wrench for the screws. I looked around to find a tiny 4.5mm wrench as listed on the website, but I needed the 4mm wrench to work much better. 4.5 dangled and flew off the deck.

Pros
  • good item
Cons
  • not bad

Sharp install on Building Materials

Right and left hand threads are a great idea. I used a pre-drilled hole and used a guide to start the screws properly. I've used 100 ends with no problems. Everything worked as planned. I got a very clean professional job!

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

Great way to connect if you're accurate with your measurements

So far so good but only a month old. Their rust resistance is determined over time. It's great if you cut the cables to the right length and trim them properly. You will decide. But this method works well and looks good. Other types of wiring appear clunky, while these are minimalist.

Pros
  • Easy to install
Cons
  • Replacement available

Good cheap alternative to very expensive self-crimping cable systems

They were easy to install in vertical wooden racks. The kit includes a suitable pre-drill, which you can then insert into the posts with the drill. Cutting the cables was easy enough too. However, the problem occurs with the crimping/crimping tool. After several attempts to crimp the cable as tight as possible, it takes very little to pull the cable out. This may be my own business, but I find it hard to believe it wouldn't happen to others as well.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Don't really like it, everything is fine

Take your time and the product will shine

They give a nice smooth look. Yes, it's a bit more work than fancy ones that you just attach a cable to and they snap into place. And yes, you can use a pair of wire crimpers to push them firmly and deeper into the tree if you misjudge the cable length. But overall, this cable system is worth the advertised price for the product you get, and as long as you take your time, skip steps, and measure twice, you'll walk away from a great industrial-style track system, whether it's on your porch or…

Very simple design

Compared to others they are not as bulky as we would like. Obviously they had their downsides, but once you overcome some of them, things get a little easier. We found it easier to crimp the first one onto the cable, hold it whole, and cut the cable a little longer than necessary. Then we screw the first end 3/4 of the way. Then we tighten the screw with lag at the opposite end 1/2 of the way. Then we shortened the cable to the right length, crimped it and only tightened it after a few turns…

Stupid guys?! I'm still going to Senmit!

Because of the high prices for fancy systems, were you hoping for a nice cable railing? Look no further. This system takes some time and effort, but it gets the job done with amazing results! Buy a Harbor Freight hydraulic crimp press. If you are patient and persistent you can also use them for very small runs and stairs. It was difficult, but I wanted the look to be the same everywhere. After a month they will all have loosened up a bit and will need to be tightened again, so don't worry if…

Good product, installation can be problematic

There are no complaints about the product. It's simple and easy. There may be problems with the installation. Here are some tips and tricks: 1. Have a second pair of hands help you hold the wire all the way into the device to make sure you don't stick it in the guide and find that your wire is 1/2 inch too is long because it slipped out during crimping. 2. You should have sent an installation key with this. I pulled out all the pliers, wrenches and vices and none of them worked for a long time.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Piggy bank price
