It's awesome. On the plane

It's fantastic. If you use these (or other noise-cancelling headphones, I think) on a plane, you won't want to take them off. I never noticed how noisy the cabin is. The battery seems to last forever. The only real disappointment is the case. If they tried, they couldn't make a cheaper case. If I lost them I would buy another pair.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Too stupid

Great noise cancellation, great brand, great reviews, fair price.

They are great. I bought these because I fly a lot for work and they were definitely worth it. It's great for low-frequency constant noises like the hum of an airplane or a lawnmower. I used to use headphones and earphones to block out outside noise and they work pretty much the same. I love the TalkThrough feature which allows you to hear everyone around you clearly. I'm a curmudgeon and I shopped and read a lot of reviews before I printed them. You can also use noise reduction without a sound

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Great Headphones

Great Headphones. I switched from a Shure SE215 pair of headphones, which I thought were fantastic for a pair of headphones, but no one could see me in them, which became a problem when people tried to speak to me. I tossed between them, the PXC550 and both the Bose QC25 and QC35 before finally settling on them. I found they fit better than the Bose, being a bit tighter around my ears and head without causing any discomfort. The ear pads are definitely more comfortable for my size and shape of…

Ideal for a long flight or study

This is an exceptional set of headphones. To be honest, I don't really pay attention to the intricacies of audio engineering. The main points for me are pretty simple: 1) Sounds great. The music I like to listen to, mostly classical or folk, sounds clean with no noticeable distortion. 2) It's well laid out. I can wear it on my very thin hair on a long transcontinental flight and it won't irritate my scalp with countless age spots and hot spots. I also like how it surrounds and hugs my ears. 3)…

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • No insurance

Perfect for the audio frequent flyers among us.

This is a very reliable headphone that makes flying more comfortable. The design is great for travel with a compact case and 2-prong adapter for select in-flight entertainment systems. The built-in USB lithium battery is a godsend compared to older versions of AAA batteries. The sound quality is excellent, although the maximum volume is a bit low in my experience. Noise-cancellation is excellent, with significant impact on engine and cabin noise, but don't expect complete silence, that's not…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Almost never

Excellent noise cancellation, great sound but too tight

So quiet. With a comfortable fit (but not too tight) and excellent noise cancellation, I can sit outside and block out the sound of a loud breeze or block out the sound of a stove inside. And then I switched my music streaming service to Extreme Quality (320 kbps) and immersed myself in the music. The sound isn't bass-heavy, but there's noticeably more bass than some other headphones. Perfect for my taste. The music does not degrade at higher volumes or lose the delicate vocals of acoustic and…
