Cheaply made but ok for the price

Appears to be very cheaply made! Definitely not fireproof! The sides are as thick as a coin so I'm pretty sure something will burn or melt inside in the event of a fire, but it's great for storing cheaper valuables. and a few more things inside and outside of children. And it beeps very loudly when the button is pressed and can be heard from another room if someone fiddles with it.

The block is not safe at all. Can be opened without entering a code.

Okay, just to be safe I decided to check it out. I was able to open the device by giggling around the handle and was able to open the device within 20 seconds without entering a code. Thinking I hadn't locked it properly, I asked my wife to open and lock it to make sure the handle was actually locked. I was still able to play with the handle and was able to open it again without entering a code. This device is not protected at all, any child can access it and access the content.

It amounts to false advertising

This flimsy safe is being sold under false pretenses! There is no way this safe can be "fireproof" or truly secure. It could be opened with a hammer and a long-handled chisel. If you expose this safe to a house fire, the contents will be ash and smoke. Call it what it really is: a personal safe that can be wall or floor mounted. Great for its purpose

First of all, this is clearly not a high security safe. If you need this, you will have to spend a lot more money. This safe is perfect for keeping things like guns away from small children and the like. I use it for a metal fire box for my drone LiPo batteries. They rarely catch fire, but it can happen.
