I bought a 20 inch collar, I measured my dog's neck at 18 inches. The collar is 20 inches from the end of the ring to the end of the ring, with a loop through the ring only 18 inches is left. Other collars I have purchased measure the actual chain and do not include rings. Resets the measurement. Now I have to send it back and get a size up. Love the quality and price so will be using them again, just want all collars to be measured the same, saves on postage.

Looks great on my dog. Yes, the gold plating wears away on the rings, but the collar didn't gray her coat around her neck like normal "chrome" collars do. The collar is also better for NOT breaking the hair on the neck and wearing/washing it. Most importantly, she hasn't broken him yet.
