Collar size issue

I bought a 20 inch collar, I measured my dog's neck at 18 inches. The collar is 20 inches from the end of the ring to the end of the ring, with a loop through the ring only 18 inches is left. Other collars I have purchased measure the actual chain and do not include rings. Resets the measurement. Now I have to send it back and get a size up. Love the quality and price so will be using them again, just want all collars to be measured the same, saves on postage.

eye catcher! Suitable for dogs

I don't normally use gold as most of our show gear is silver or has silver clasps and buckles. I recently bought a new gold clip hooklink so I needed a collar to match. This snake necklace is perfect for that. It looks well made and I was pleasantly surprised at how good it looked against my dog's red coat. I've paid almost three times as much for my other show chains so I was very happy with the look and price of this one. Only time will tell if this holds up and the gold doesn't wear out. In…

Great article! suitable for collars, harnesses and leashes

My dog wrote this because she wanted to express her opinion. Call! It's "Hello" in Collie. I got this beautiful piece of jewelry (Mom says it's a training collar but that's one of those rare occasions when she's wrong. It's not a collar and I don't need to train! beautiful necklace) from my two cat sisters. It's a thin gold chain in the shape of a snake - I think it could be from a good jeweler. Tiffany came to mind. It fits perfectly with the clasp on my gold leash. It's from a good department

Pros
  • One year trial period

No Heavy Dog Training Collars

I have been a professional dog trainer for many years. I only use cotton weave leashes and heavy snake chain and have looked for them in sizes 26", 18", 20", and 22". I even sent a photo of a thin chain, barely enough for a well-trained dog in a conformation ring, instead of a heavy chain link that's twice as thick, doesn't hurt the dog or rip the dog's fur, and has a quick release. and usually endures the harshness of naughty dogs. You realize the collar needs to be replaced when the link…

Strong enough to hold my Malamute

Looks great on my dog. Yes, the gold plating wears away on the rings, but the collar didn't gray her coat around her neck like normal "chrome" collars do. The collar is also better for NOT breaking the hair on the neck and wearing/washing it. Most importantly, she hasn't broken him yet. She is only six months old, but she ran to the end of the tie chain wearing ordinary chokers and tore it without missing a step. As if she were without clothes! FYI, I won't leave her tied to a choker alone…

Pros
  • Easy to attach
Cons
  • Almost never
