Wireless magic for hubs

Added this device to a wireless network to share a Canon MFP; worked great; tested with Windows XP, Server 2003, Server 2005 Vista 32/64 everything worked fine; Also shared flash drives and USB-HD and used as an FTP server. Everything worked without any problems. When I bought the box it was very good value for money (less than half the current price); With a current price of over $100, that's a tougher challenge. However, it worked well with MFPs and USB sticks, which is what I needed.

Pros
  • Maintains the printer's optimal print speed and scan resolution
Cons
  • No insurance

Works perfectly! good for hubs

Setup was easy, there is an impressive list of compatible MFPs which is a big plus compared to other servers that I checked. It quickly found my printer and external hard drive. I was up and running in about 15 minutes, and spent most of my time opening the box and installing the printer on my laptop.

Pros
  • Share up to five (5) USB 2.0 devices with a USB hub
Cons
  • Worries me

Network USB Hub is the best networking product

Wanted to use it with USB devices over the network but was able to not get it to work properly. Invisible to other systems on the network. Worked great with the system it was installed from.

Pros
  • Two (2) USB 2.0 ports allow access to any USB device over the network
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

With a little work for hubs

After a little installation and configuration it works great. Connects 2 printers, a scanner and an external USROBOTICS modem via a Linksys USB 2.05 Port Extender. I can connect 3 computers through the house via a router.
