Awesome little water stone!

I was skeptical about this stone as I sharpen razors but this stone exceeded my expectations. Very well packaged, a storage box is included. Graininess is about the same as advertised, if not then slightly finer, which is mostly not the case. Great stone, would buy again but think this one will last quite a while!

Great entry-level sharpening stone for the money.

I like this whetstone as I am new to hand sharpening this stone has a very large surface area which makes it easy to use. This stone provides really good feedback to the user and feels like a 1000/400 grit stone. I was very happy with the case/stand it came in, although I could still buy a whetstone, it gives you a good place to keep your whetstone when sharpening and storing when not in use.

High quality, very wide for carpentry planes, clear instructions, practical holder.

A whetstone is one of the best tools for sharpening quality cutlery. I bought this whetstone mainly to sharpen my carpenter's plane. At 3 inches wide, it easily accommodates the 2 inch blade found in most planes. This whetstone is also useful for sharpening and sharpening my collection of $2500 fine knives.
