Best in Art Paper Animation Paper

The paper is similar to standard white copier paper and the holes are perfect for the pin header. I also bought an LED board to make the paper more transparent.

Cons
  • All Fine

Not suitable for tracing

I bought this paper for my second graders to trace through. The description states that the paper can be used for searching. Not true. You can't see through this paper any better than normal carbon paper. Disappointment. I just use it like printer paper.

Cons
  • Difficult to say

Good quality animation paper with standard holes

So far this paper has been easy to use and the holes match the rod/ruler perfectly which we also bought. Weight and transparency are good for drawing with a pencil or pen, while opacity is good for use with a light board.

Cons
  • Expensive

Not actually ACME Perforated

The paper got lost on the way for several days and on arrival it turned out not to be fully perforated from the factory [it is perforated, you need to remove the paper into the holes] BUT this is also NOT a standard ACME, the round stamp in the center is too small for the ACME pin and the slots are too wide to accommodate the wrong perforations, maybe other reviewers had better luck but this paper goes beyond a "snug fit" if it tears when pushed fully onto the ACME pin

Cons
  • Not bad but...

Well, if you don't care about quality.

Bought last minute for an introductory animation course as the campus store was closed and needed the next day. The only upside to the quality is that it has the correct hole order to put it on the draw pins. motionless. This is consistent for every page, so no random pages are skewed sideways. As for the negatives; It's literally the base paper for printing, so even with a light table you can't see beyond three pages. So unless you plan on using it to a minimum, don't even bother trying unless
