My wife's ironing board legs snapped and were tried as a cost saving tool. They worked. Be careful when measuring and be patient when installing.

Only two per order. Not 4 as most chairs have 4 legs and I don't know why they were sold in pairs. So yes, you need to order two of these for a typical four-barrel chair.

Sorry I ordered the wrong size and shape walking stick. I didn't realize it was measured in diameter (inside the rubber tip). Then I thought it was because of the height (height) of the rubber tip. But I save it for something else, like a larger item that needs it.

The 1.5" rubber leg bumpers I got from Shepard Hardware worked great! I put four on top of the wooden stool legs in the master bathroom which now prevent the stool from sliding on the tiled bathroom floor! Shepherd Hardware, you "rock" but definitely don't slip! Jim J

I found (and bought) a shepherd's hook for walking sticks. I put one of them on the end to keep it from slipping and to somehow dampen the knock. It was easy to put on, I just had to pat it on the floor a few times and it slipped off. It's thick enough not to slip, which is very nice. it's me, happy
