I only use Shimano parts

I ride about ten miles a day, mostly in urban areas with lots of little ups and downs, so I have to use my brakes a lot. I only use these Shimano pads and they work well and in my situation they last about 6 months or more before I change them. A VERY good deal and I've never had a squeak when braking. Install them right and they're great.

good replacement pads OEM

They've been on the workbench for a while and finally got a chance to install them. Although these are the correct pads for one of my bikes, they were a lot longer than the OEM pads. Made installation a little tricky as the pad had to be fairly high on the rim but couldn't go too high or the tire would rub. They run well and are quiet and have a lot more stopping power than the originals even when new.

DO NOT BUY. DAMAGE YOUR DISC

These pads are terrible. They make a grinding noise as if the contact surface were made of sandpaper. I thought it might work if they "break". But even after driving over 200 km it didn't get any better. Update: I removed the pads and to my surprise I found small bits of metal in the pad material. No wonder they made that awful noise. They also left grooves on my rims. I want to upload an image. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Very unusual for Shimano. I wonder if these were fakes?

The advertised use of the cartridge is not possible.

They may be affordable but they don't last as long as I was hoping. Did someone say they ride 10 miles a day on slides and these pads last 6 months? It's just not true. I live in Florida so no hills and same commute to work and it doesn't take more than 3 months. I used to buy Shimano pads and had the same problem, so I wanted a cartridge holder that would make it easy to carefully change every 2-3 months. "Includes Cartridge Type Pads" in the paragraphs at the top of the page; However, after…
