Good quality Shimano hub

This is a good quality Shimano hub. very smooth running; I've been using it for almost 9 months without any notable problems

The accessible part does what it should.

Traditional bicycle front hub. The 100mm spacing has long been the standard so it can be used to fix an old bike/wheelset like mine. The slightly larger flange distance compared to the old broken hub had no noticeable effect on the required spoke length and I continued to use the old spokes without any problems. As with all low end hubs, fine tuning of the bearing preload is recommended. They are usually set a little tighter than ideal when they leave the factory.

Looks like a good hub

Haven't bolted it to the wheel yet so no long term review yet. I inspected the hub and was happy to see 11 bearing balls per side instead of the usual 10. That "should" be better in my opinion. This bushing had the most grease of about 12 new hubs (F&R) I bought last year. They have also been adjusted best for bearing play, although I think they can still be a bit tight if the QR is clamped. You should always check the lubrication and play around before using a new hub. About $2-3 more than the
