Good lubricant for the cable. I applied a very small amount onto the cable where the contact points would be and around the head of the cable.

Using W XTR shifting and a 12 speed shifting at half the price of Axs GX wireless shifting. So good. For me I would take this setup every day.

Grease disappears within minutes of application, leaving a smooth, silky feel and almost no friction. I bought for a new Shimano R8000 build but am now planning to apply this stuff to my 5 year old Campagnolo Record cables.

Use a very small amount of Shimano SIS shift cable grease even if they are teflon coated and coated this will help shifting. Used at the factory on new installations and in the cable housing. You've got about 200 years of stash, so share it with a friend and keep it in an old pillbox.
